UN submission on settler violence (2015)
On 2 September 2015, WCLAC lodged a submission with two UN Special Rapporteurs providing an update on the situation on the ground relating to the impact of settler violence on women in the West Bank. The submission also highlights the link between the settlements and night raids conducted by the Israeli military on Palestinian homes.
Frequent targeting of human rights defender Manal Tamimi
On 29 July 2015, WCLAC and Lawyers for Palestinian Human Rights (LPHR) submitted a joint complaint to the UN concerning the frequent targeting of local activist, Mrs Manal Tamimi, by Israeli military authorities.
Jerusalem: A City on Edge (2015)
This report considers the current situation in Jerusalem with reference to testimonies provided by Palestinian women. Issues considered included: residency rights and familiy re-unification; building permits and house demolitions; settler violence and encroachment; police violence, night raids and arrests; and restrictions on the freedom of worship.
